IB Curriculum Structure
Our IB Diploma Program in Brasilia is meticulously designed around six subject groups. Students can select one subject from groups one to five, with the flexibility to choose an additional subject from their preferred areas of study. By choosing a variety of IB subjects, students receive a comprehensive education while allowing for deeper exploration in individual areas of interest.
In addition to their chosen subjects, students must complete three core subjects, Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). These core IB subjects are designed to enhance the cognitive and social skills needed to thrive in high-pressure academic and working environments. Alongside these, CAS facilitates the development of diverse perspectives that are highly valued by top institutions and prepare students for careers in politics, business, sustainability, and international relations.
